My latest manipulation and I will say that I'm rather proud of it. I used a bunch of amazing resources of a dA to make this and they are: the gorgeous background by :iconwroth: which I downloaded through :iconresurgere: , the horse from :iconsalsolastock: , the kois from :icontsukoyomi: , :icondark dragon stock: and :icondavsimon-stock: , I used brushes from :iconredheadstock: , :iconhawksmont: & :iconln213:

Hi there, here is your feedback from the AoE Crit Night #2

^merrilee^ Nice! I'm relatively useless with manips. The only thing I can point out at first glance is that the shade of the reflection of the mountain and that of the horse should be the same. Very well done.

^Artisinmyheart^ Oooh the fish is a nice add. The horse is excellently put into the water. the perspective is right. The bubbles is a little out their... the background is awesome. the water lines around the hooves can be painted in a little bit more. it would be nice to see the tail but overall I love this piece

^LilyBay^ I like how you blended the hooves into the water, it looks real. I feel like the mane should be a little less smudged as well. it looks a bit over-smudged

^prints-of-hooves^ That's lovely! the fish are awesome and different ^^ The only thing is the horse seems to be at an awkward angle for the angle of the background where it's placed- if you placed it back more it would make more sense.

^spumonii^ ah, this piece. beautiful, really -- the horse and the background go great together and i love the feel of it. but i feel like it should be smoother. the horse should be smudged, the background softened up. i feel like this would give enhance the serene feel. she did a great job of putting the fish into the background, although the bubbles are a bit hard to believe. it would be nice if there was a tail somewhere. the ripples are what bother me, though. they look exactly the same for each leg, when each leg won't have the same movement that will cause that. some ripples should be way less defined where the legs aren't moving at all, it looks a bit awkward having the same ripple for each leg when the movement isn't that dramatic.
